Drake has his first # 1 song on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart with “One Dance.”

The hit brought in 159,595 units of sales after sitting at #5 last week. It surged 32 percent upon the release of VIEWS, which debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top 200 albums chart with more than 1 million sales.

Drizzy has had other #1 songs as a featured artist, including “Work” and “What’s My Name,” which are two of Rihanna’s 14 #1 songs.

Back in October, “Hotline Bling” peaked at #2 on the chart. At the time, Drake took to Instagram to say that “no accolades really matter to me other than the fact that I have never had a billboard number one” and to celebrate, “if you are looking for me on that particular evening I will be passed out in the water slide that connects to our pool.” He said it would be especially meaningful because it was his birthday month and the namesake of his OVO, October’s Very Own, brand.

Since it is now May, will we find Drake passed out on his water slide in his pool that is bigger than Kanye’s?

I spend my life trying to make waves for the city I am from. No accolades really matter to me other than the fact that I have never had a billboard number one. If I get my first number one during the month of October it will be the biggest moment of my career to date (in my mind) and if you are looking for me on that particular evening I will be passed out in the water slide that connects to our pool. I love you and thank you for these memories. I always love the moment right before it happens more than when it actually happens. So thank you…even if it doesn't.
